- PVC Coated Vinyl - 10 oz., 18 oz., 22 oz.
- Mildew and Rot Resistant
- UV resistant
These tarps are best for Truck and Trailer Tarps, and for Shade. Use these anywhere you need protection from the elements. The edges of the tarps are triple folded making them extremely strong and robust for adding tie downs.
Weight Recommendations
10 oz. - Used mainly for the larger tarps that need to be light weight yet durable.
18 oz. - Most often selected for it's durability, these tarps are great for covering harvest machines and equipment such as electrical control panels and tool boxes. We make most of our vinyl tarps using this weight.
22 oz. - The 18 oz. and 22 oz. last the same, as far as Ultra Violet Resistance is concerned, but the thicker vinyl helps when the tarp will be rubbing from mechanized movement or wind.
Tie Downs Recommendation
Loops - for truck & trailer tarps. NOTE: Loops are 4 times stronger then grommets and come at no extra cost.
D-Rings - for trailers with permanently fastened ropes that are run up through the tie down and cinched down tightly.
Grommets - for shade tarps that will be permanently fastened to a structure.
Extra Rows of D-Rings
Once you've selected the size tarp you need, you'll be able to add 1 to 4 extra rows of D-Rings. The extra rows work well when you need to cover a host of different size loads on your flat bed. You can also choose the distance between each row. The D-Rings will line up with the tie down spacing you choose using the "Tie Down Method" option.
Boxed Ends
A lot of customers love using a tarp that is boxed in the front. This allows for quick placement and usually eliminates the need to tie the front down. With the mesh nets, you can also choose to box the back end. The tarp will not tear because the majority of the air pass through the tarp. Each corner is reinforced with 18 oz. vinyl for long lasting protection.
